Boston

I
The rain stopped and we had a beautiful day in Boston. We saw the "Golden Dome" at the State House and tried out a boot scraper.

We walked the path of the ducks from "Make Way for Ducklings." We all loved the Swanboat ride. It was a great way to end a wonderful year.
Hope you have enjoyed the blog and all the pictures. Have a great summer!

Field Day

We really got our excercise on Field Day!  We did many different relays including carrying an egg on a spoon, running a 40 yard dash, and balancing a tennis ball on a racquet.  We also had a lot of fun with a parachute.

Everyone loved seeing Mrs. McDonald get dunked in the dunk tank. Miss Smith was a good sport to let us have a turn to dunk her. We were lucky it wasn't a hot day.

Steel Drum Show

The PTO sponsored a music show for us. It was members of a steel drum band. They told us the history of the steel drum and we learned they were first made in Trinidad. Marley and Brandon were chosen to play a few instruments with the band.  The music sounded beautiful and it was a nice way to end the week.

Nature Walk

We had a beautiful day for a walk in the woods.  We were very lucky to have seen so many things. We saw a baby snake, a toad, a snail, a salamander, a turtle and a snake skin.  Here are some pictures for you to see.
