Mrs. McDonald and the Purple Hair

Mrs. McDonald had made an agreement that if the school earned 100 gold coins for good behavior, she would dye her hair purple for the day.  Today was the day, and the class was very excited to see the results!

We had a fabulous time at the Aquarium. There was much to see and it wasn't crowded which was nice. The kids got to touch rays, starfish and crabs. Here are many happy faces.

Francis Wyman Family Carnival
Saturday, March 14, 10:00 AM-2:00 PM

Join us for Francis Wyman’s biggest event of the year- rain, snow or shine because all the fun is indoors! Admission is free! Food, game and raffle tickets will be sold during the carnival. Enjoy a variety of fun activities and of course our famous CAKE WALK- win a cake and vote for your favorite! Be sure to stop by the cafeteria where we’ll be offering plenty of refreshments. Our huge raffle table features a ton of fabulous prizes to win. Don’t miss out on your chance to walk away with one or more of these great prizes!!

Dr. Seuss Day

Today is Dr. Seuss' birthday and we celebrated Read Across America. We did some Dr. Seuss activities and Mrs. Smith read "One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish." After lunch we had a guest reader visit. Assistant Superintendent Patrick Larkin read "Green Eggs and Ham." The class was very excited to have him in the classroom. We didn't have anyone brave enough to try the green eggs and ham for lunch.
