Kindergarten Museum

What an exciting day!  Thanks to the many kindergarten families that came to view our Museum.  Many hours went into our paintings and sculptures, but the turn out made it all worth it.  We were so proud of our accomplishments and enjoyed showing them off.  We donated the money raised from the Museum to Pennies for Patients.  Our portfolios with all it's treasures will be coming home soon!

Dr. Seuss Day

Friday was Dr. Seuss Day.  We did more celebrating for the author's birthday.  We went to the library with the first grade to hear a guest reader.  That person was the Burlington Police Chief Kent.  After listening to the story, the children got to ask the Chief all about his job. He was very patient and had a good sense of humor.

We had a busy week, it was lots of fun!

100th Day of School

On Thursday we celebrated our 100th day of school! We enjoyed doing some 100th day activities during our work time.  In the afternoon during math we split up into three groups to count 100 items.  Each group was given a different set of objects, then had to make ten groups of ten.
